Why do new patients screenshot your hours instead of booking?

People are not looking for your logo. They are trying to decide whether they can show up this week.

If patients save a picture of your Google hours, your website failed the actual job. They needed: can I come, what happens first, and how do I lock a time. Your site gave them a wellness paragraph and a portal login.

Put the first visit above the brand story

The homepage should answer hours, location, parking, insurance or cash pay, and how to book—before anyone scrolls. If those live only on Google, Google becomes the website.

Booking has to work without creating an account. A login gated portal is a filing cabinet. It is not a front door.

Write for the person who is a little scared

Jargon and disclaimers make you look careful to other clinicians but they make a potential new patient close the tab. Say who you help, what the first visit looks like, and how to cancel without a speech.

If after-hours callers still hit voicemail, online booking is not a nice extra. It is the whole office from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m.
