Simple Ways to Capture More Leads on Your Site
More leads usually come from a clearer ask in the right place—not a louder popup.
If people already want to hire you and they still send a DM, the site is making the useful path too hard. Capture works when the offer matches the page, the form is short, and the thank-you is a continuation of the conversation—not a dead end.
Put the ask where the decision already is
A contact form buried in the footer of a long homepage is easy to skip. Repeat a calm next step after a service explanation, next to proof, and on mobile where a thumb can actually tap it.
Match the ask to the moment. A pricing page can invite a scoped conversation. A resource can invite the related checklist. A far-too-generic “get in touch” asks people to invent the email themselves.
- Name, email, and the actual question. Stop there unless you need more.
- Buttons that say what happens: “ask about a site refresh,” not “submit.”
- A thank-you that confirms you got it and what they should expect.
Give the not-yet-ready people a smaller yes
Not everyone is booking this afternoon. A short guide, a sample timeline, or a useful checklist can keep the right people close without pretending they are ready to buy.
If a popup is going to exist, let it wait until someone has seen the page. Interruptions that arrive instantly usually collect rage, not leads.
